Wood Burning Stoves On A Blustery Spring Day

Grace Gift
~ Wood Burning Stoves
And Blustery Spring Days ~

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease . Genesis 8:22
The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another.  The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.  ~Henry Van Dyke

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.  ~Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

I know... the calendar says it's springtime-outdoors says something entirely different.
So thankful today for wood burning stoves to keep stoked on a blustery 'spring' day.

This stove is the closest that I found that looks most like the one in our home.

Just a sweet photo....cozy and warm by the stove.
ahhhhh.....keeping our tootsies warm whilst not paying the power company a single cent.
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.  ~Anne Bradstreet

Thank You, Lord.
