A Lovely Spring Day

Lovely Spring Days
Song of Solomon 2:11-13
11 For now the winter is past;
the rain has ended and gone away.
12 The blossoms appear in the countryside.
The time of singing has come,
and the turtledove’s cooing is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens its figs;
the blossoming vines give off their fragrance.
Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one.

 Beautiful! Isn't it amazing to see all the beauty and delicate design our Creator has placed in every single flower! He's given us this beautiful world as a reminder that He loves us and has a special and wonderful plan for each of our lives as we yield to Him.

Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.  Philippians 4:8 
 "If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me.  I will be found by you," says the Lord.  Jeremiah 29:13-14
He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.  Psalm 23:2
The Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.  Psalm 32:10
I will go before you and make the crooked places straight.  Isaiah 45:2
Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.  Colossians 3:15
You have made know to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.  Psalm 16:11




Matthew 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.



Psalms 103:15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

Isaiah 40:8

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.


Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Psalms 37:11
Matthew 6:28-29 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.



Isaiah 35:1-2 
   
The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; 2 it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty of our God.




Matthew 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Whatever season it is, it's a time to praise God, and dance in the rain, sing in the sun, or shout in the snow.
Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:4-7
