Lamplight

Light In Darkness
No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
 The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
 Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.
 If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.
Luke 11:33-36
 What has God done for you today?
What did He do yesterday?
Last week?
Last year?
We all have a story to tell. God's faithfulness. His comfort. His provision.
Don't be afraid to speak about it. Let the light of His presence in your life reach out to someone else.
Go ahead----don't hide it away.
Just.....let it shine.

He Causes The Grass To Grow

Grass For The Cattle
He causes the grass to grow for the cattle,
And vegetation for the labor of man,
So that he may bring forth food from the earth,
And wine which makes man’s heart glad,
So that he may make his face glisten with oil,
And food which sustains man’s heart.

---Psalm 104:14-15
 The cattle often roam in the field by our house.
Sometimes they quietly nibble and chew without making much of a sound.
At other times, however, they have a lot to say, heralding their powerful voices into the neighborhood.
Do they worry about getting enough to eat?
When they arrive at the fence with their little ones bounding along innocently, do they concern themselves with having enough grass to raise their young?
Probably not.
God provides everything they need.
He provides for us, as well.
