 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Phil. 4:8

 Whether you believe in God or not, the message in this verse crosses all faiths, or non-faiths.

There is a lot to chew on in this verse.

Filling my mind with lovely words and thoughts and ideas…

 How often do we miss the rare and the beautiful surprises that our heavenly Father wants us to see and enjoy? A magnificent sunset, 

 a glistening waterfall,

 a tiny baby with dimples and a toothless smile,

 the gentle eyes of the elderly

  and the reassuring touch of a loved one.

 Jesus reached many hearts with His gentle touch, His kind eyes and His caring ways. How often do we miss these precious moments in our busy schedules and time driven lives?

 May you stop and smell the new rose on the bush,

  and encourage a toddler that his crumpled picture is the most gorgeous one you have ever seen! 

 Seize the moment 

 Lord Jesus, help us to appreciate all You have created so wonderfully and show us how to teach others to see the rainbow in every storm.
