Storms and Rainbows

Grace Gift
Rainbows

Genesis 9:16
Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.

Yesterday afternoon in Iowa, once again, storms ripped through both fields and homes.
Yes, I live in Tn., but all my lovelies live in Iowa and Nebraska ( and Co. ) and I watch what the weather is doing in those places. ( thanks to Facebook )

How slender the thread between storms and safety.
Our spiritual lives can sometimes be stormy.........

We fret and fear the storms............
Good heavens, save me!

" How can I hold on, just one more day?", I sometimes cry.

But then, there it is...our Rainbow-Him! There is hope for the hopeless.... shelter from the storms.
Thank You, Lord... for Your everlasting Promises.

Ezekiel 1:28
Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:13

Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speaking.
